Connor Barrett
Born and raised in Cottonwood, Arizona. I'm a proud second-generation Arizonan with deep roots in the Verde Valley. I'm excited to play a role in bringing new energy and excellence to Clarkdale.
After beginning my culinary career at L’Auberge de Sedona in fine dining, I was hooked. My skills in creating a cocktail list, as well as being the sommelier, led me on a journey I couldn't imagine. My next adventure led me to Flagstaff, and after several successful years there, I relocated to Phoenix. I spent five years designing and operating a variety of innovative restaurant concepts I love and are still thriving today!
Now, I am thrilled to reconnect with old friends and create new memories with our community.

Nicolas Perez
A bartender, veteran, Arizona native, and your host. While I've had the privilege of working at some incredible James Beard Award winning and nominated restaurants, my true home has always been behind the bar or in my family's kitchen. There’s something magical about the craft of the bar: the moment a customer takes that first sip and their eyes light up, or their bite of something made with love. That’s where I learned that a drink and a bite isn’t just a drink and a bite—it’s an invitation. That love of hospitality started right here in Arizona, with the belief that bringing people together is one of the most rewarding things we can do with our time.
For me, our work here is about connection and belonging. Sharing good food and drink has always facilitated both. If done well, they’re a powerful reason to slow down, put our phones away, share stories, enjoy the moment, and maybe even laugh a little louder than we planned to. These moments can turn strangers into friends and build a sense of community that didn’t before exist. After my time serving in the United States Army, that sense of belonging and community became even more important. I came to understand that the moments we share over a good meal and a well-made cocktail are the moments that stay with us—and that great hospitality can make anyone feel at home.
I wanted to create a space where world-class drinks, and good eats meet genuine warmth. Where you can pull up a stool as a stranger and leave as part of the family. The goal is simple: to serve you something delicious, make you feel welcome, and give you a reason to come back. Whether you’re a cocktail enthusiast, a foodie, or just looking for a spot to unwind. I am grateful you’re here—and can’t wait to raise a glass with you.
